Thursday Nights (Charistown, #1)
"Words, I need words"
That's exactly how I am feeling right now!

I so want to find my own version of Danny's on Main!
What an amazing read. I was so sucked in to this story that I couldn't put it down. It has been a while since i found a story where I was completely invested in EVERYONE of the characters. They grab you and pull at your heart strings with their troubled past and inability to have a meaningful relationship. At least they can have some laughs to try to forget their fears and insecurities.

What do you do when you have been hurt so bad in the past that you consider yourself "broken"? You eliminate any possibility of ever being hurt again. Never taking a chance at love will guarantee that will never happen. Max DeLucca had closed himself to love 7 years ago. Only opting for casual sex. That is until Janie Silver entered his life one Thursday night.

Janie and Lyla started to go to Danny's on Main every Thursday night. Janie and Lyla became more than just "regulars" at Danny's, they became "family" something they each sought desperately.

Janie felt drawn to Max, one of the bartenders at Danny's. All she ever wanted was to be put first and loved. But encouraged by Lyla decided to give "sex with friends" a try. Max wanted nothing more than to try to get Janie out if his system. All he wanted was one night. But would it be enough?

"You are no one's hero, he thought. You don't do relationships. It's fuck and release. You get in, you get out, no one gets hurt."

Can Janie do "sex with friends" she wasn't sure.

"As unrealistic as she knew it may be, she couldn't let go of her childhood fantasies, the ones where she dream that one day, someday, she would find someone who would make her feel whole. Complete. Cherished. Loved."

Will Max overcome his past and finally open up his heart to love?
You have to read to find out. Take the journey, you won't regret it.

Although this book is about Max and Janie, I really liked how Lisa N. Paul interwove other characters stories, like Lyla ,Gage, Ashley ,Ryan, Julie, Danny, and even Kyle and gave us a glimpse of what is yet to come in this great series.
