Tension Book two in the By a Thread Series! We are so excited it is finally out! We hope you like it as much as we did.

*Synopsis*

The Stella who emerges from the rubble of the bombing in Montana is a woman full of conflict. She knows she should be grateful that she lived when others didn't, but waking in the hospital as a celebrity, complete with a new moniker, she's bitter and distrustful, questioning everything in her life. She's unsure of her friends, her new boyfriend, and her job. In addition, a face from the past reappears and threatens to take the one good thing in her life.

Stella attempts to deal with the new scrutiny of her life with her usual sense of humor, but she's filled with a new emotion that she tries desperately to hide: HATE. Her recovery is hastened by her determination to find the man who turned her into a walking scar. She's going to kill him; she needs to kill him.

Stella isn't alone. She has her close friends and her dog, Cooper. Will their support be enough to help Stella accomplish her plan, or will this endeavor be her undoing?

This book is intended for mature audiences due to strong language and sexual content.

Tension (By A Thread)Tension by R.L. Griffin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*4.5 STARS*

Tension was everything you liked about By a Thread and much more. This book is packed full of action, suspense, twists and turns, and of course a love story.

Stella has been through the ringer in more ways than one. Just when yu think she is coming out of the dark place she found herself in after Jaime's "death", she gets blown up and shot by the one person she thought she would spend her life with.

In Tension she finds herself unable to get past the hatred that seems to grow inside of her everyday. But she is fighter, always has been and always will be. She has one mission and that is to find the person that shot her and kill him. She wants him to pay. But with all the media coverage she received after the shooting she is unable to go anywhere without a photographer snapping pictures documenting her every move...

I identify with Stella and her dark sense of humor. Even through everything she was going through she was somehow able to keep some her witty, sarcastic, and dark sense of humor. I love dark and twisty girls.

George was such a great character. I love him so much!!! Much in the same way he was in By a Thread but so much more caring, thoughtful, and supporting to Stella in my opinion. He seemed to know her better than she knew herself. Willing to pick up the pieces and try to mend her back together.

I loved the part where Stella was trying to play fetch (I mean Bring it Back) with Cooper and he refused to bring the ball back to her. My golden retriever does the same thing. She totally doesn't grasp the concept :) It seriously made me LOL.

The reason I took off half a star was because I had two small issues. I thought it was a bit slow in the beginning and the flashbacks where it kept jumping back and forth from past to what I assume was present I found a little hard to follow which of the two I was currently reading. This may be my personal issue and others may not feel the same way.

I can not say enough how much I enjoyed this story. I knew I would. There was never a question in my mind that it would be AMAZING RL you rock!

*WARNING:* There is a pretty epic cliff-hanger at the end. So you are warned. Book 3, Seamless, the conclusion in the By a Thread Series has a tentative release date of March 2014. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds.
