Walking Disaster was a roler coaster of emotions from start to finish.

From the very beginning it pulls at your heartstrings. You experience heartache and loss within the first few pages and you start to get an idea as to why Travis is the way he is.



"One of these days you're going to fall in love, son. Don't settle for just anyone. Choose the girl that doesn't come easy; the one that you have to fight for, and then never stop fighting, Never."



He takes his mother's advice to heart.



"I decided a long time ago that I would feed on the vultures until a dove came along. A pigeon. The kind of soul that didn't impede on anyone; just walked around worrying about its own business, trying to get through life without pulling anyone else down with its own needs and selfish habits. Brave. A communicator. Intelligent. Beautiful. Soft-spoken. A creature that mates for life. Unattainable until she has a reason to trust you."



Once he finds Abby, who he sees as his Pigeon, he fights against himself, her, and the world to make her his.



What I liked about the book is that you really get to experience every even with Travis and it gives you a bit more perspective into Travis' mind frame regarding certain events. For example: the scene that A LOT of people found "disturbing" where Abby leaves Travis in bed after they were sexually together for the first time. You really feel his anguish, heartbreak, and desperation. I am not saying that he isn't a little over the top but you understand more as to why he felt so out of control and dealt with it the only way that he new how...with great force.



I couldn't agree more with Abby when she said how much she loathed the word "bagged". It was used so much that I swear if Travis said it one more time I was going to stab myself in the eye.



The one thing that was missing for me was the fight scenesin the circle from the first book. I kept hoping there would be more but I was left wanting.


Overall, I enjoyed the book. I hoped to have a little bit more new content but it was very much like Beautiful Disaster. Which is not a bad thing because it's one of my favorite books.

I was giving an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

If you are looking for quick read with steamy BDSM elements then The Naughty Girl is exactly what you need.

Alex is sub with an attitude. She has never been collared by anyone before, but once she meets Paul she starts to question if maybe she should give being collared to someone a chance.

"When he finally lifted his eyes to meet mine, it was as if he could see through me, to my soul."

It was a very fast read with an edge. The only draw back that I found was that it was a bit predictable. But that could have been because it was so short. All in all, I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

I Remember You

I Remember You by Scarlett Metal

First I would like to say that I LOVE stories about childhood loves finding each other later in life and I Remember You by Scarlett Metal is a great addition to that category.

"Even though she was only seventeen, there was something about him and their relationship that told her they'd be together forever, that Lance was her soul mate."

Samantha and Lance's relationship is very tumultuous after a bomb is drop on Lance's life that Samantha can't come to term with.

"Lance, I can't do this. I can't sit and wait." Her voice started to break despite her resolve. "I love you. I do. So much it hurts. But I'm 17 years old."

Fast forward 10 YEARS later and they literally bump into each other. Samantha still lives in their hometown and Lance live in LA but is back for his concert and to settle thinks with his mother's home.

After that first encounter Samantha can't stop thinking "what if?" So Samantha decide to attend a concert that could be the best thing to happen to her in a really long time.

The only issue I had was that I wished it was longer. It's such a cute story that if it was a little bit longer the characters could have been more developed and all of the events wouldn't have felt so rushed.

Overall it's a really cute love story and I loved it!
